Terms of Use

1. The Service

Wufy helps dog owners find walking companions nearby, create and join walks, organize or attend events, report lost dogs, chat with other users in private, neighborhood, breed-based, and topic channels.

Wufy is an information platform. We do not organize meetings ourselves, do not verify information posted by users, and are not a party to any agreements users may make with each other.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If applicable law in your country sets a higher age of digital consent, that age applies.

By using the Service you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Accounts and sign-in

You can sign in to Wufy via Telegram, Sign in with Apple, or Google. We receive basic profile data from these providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for all activity performed under your account. Do not share access to your account with others. Notify us at wufydog@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or that damage the Service or other users.

4. User content

You retain ownership of the content you upload — photos of your dogs and walks, messages, reviews, profile details ("User Content"). You grant Wufy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your User Content for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. Do not upload content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, infringing, pornographic, threatening, or that reveals other people's personal data without consent.

5. Acceptable use

When using Wufy you agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful purposes or to facilitate illegal activity;
• harass, threaten, impersonate, or defame other users;
• send spam, advertise unrelated products or services, or scrape user data;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, our infrastructure, or other users' accounts;
• disrupt the Service or bypass security measures;
• use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without our prior written consent;
• post content that harms animals, incites violence, or violates their welfare.

6. Walks, events, meetings and user safety

Wufy connects dog owners but does not supervise, guarantee, insure, or take responsibility for any meeting, walk, event, or interaction arranged through the Service.

You use the Service at your own risk. You are responsible for the behaviour of your dog, for choosing appropriate company, location, and time for walks, and for complying with local laws (including leashing, vaccination, and public-place rules).

Wufy is not liable for any injury, damage, loss, conflict, bite, disease transmission, or other negative consequence resulting from a walk, event, or meeting arranged through the Service — whether between dogs, between users, or involving third parties.

Events, competitions, and activities organized by partners or other users are not endorsed by Wufy. Wufy is not responsible for such activities, their content, safety, or the conduct of their organizers.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party services that operate under their own terms and privacy policies: Telegram (messaging, authentication, Mini App platform), Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store, push notifications), Google (Google Sign-In, Google Play, Google Maps, FCM), Yandex Maps, Amvera (hosting), Yandex Cloud (storage).

We are not responsible for the behaviour, availability, or policies of these third-party services.

8. Paid subscriptions

Wufy may offer paid subscription plans (Pro, Premium) that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are purchased through the distribution platform you use (Apple App Store, Google Play, or Telegram where applicable). Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the rules of that platform.

Features included in a given plan may change. We will notify you of material changes in advance. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription through the platform.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, code, and branding (including the Wufy name and logo) are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

Third-party content available through the Service (maps, icons, dog breed data, etc.) remains the property of its respective owners.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure from unauthorized access, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content posted by other users.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wufy, its team, and its partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the Service.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the full limitation of liability, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, during the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Wufy harmless against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or of any third party's rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time via the in-app settings or by contacting wufydog@gmail.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, pose a risk to other users, or if we are required to do so by law.

14. Governing law and disputes

For users who reside in the Russian Federation, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation and disputes are subject to the courts at the place of residence of the consumer where required by mandatory consumer-protection rules.

For users in other jurisdictions, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable at your place of residence to the extent required by mandatory local consumer law; otherwise these Terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation.

Mandatory consumer rights granted by your local law remain unaffected.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated inside the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
